Workshop registration policy
According to the Workshop registration policy MCTP2009 contributions must be presented by one of the authors, or, if none of the authors are able to attend, by a qualified substitute. At least one registration must be attached to the accepted work.

Oral presentation or poster
Submitting authors can choose their presentation preference: oral or poster. However, the Scientific Committee will make the final decision regarding the form of presentation. For those presenting their work in poster format, please note that author attendance will be required during the poster viewing periods.

Instructions and submission procedure
Authors who wish to participate in the workshop should create abstracts consisting of a description of their work. Abstracts may be between 1-4 pages of length including all text, figures tables and references. Formatting guidelines are given in the “Instructions for abstract submission” section. Abstracts may be submitted electronically via e-mail before the abstract submission deadline. Authors will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance by email as close as possible to the published author notification date. The email notification will include the presentation format chosen for the work (oral presentation or poster) and may also include the presentation date and time, if available. The notification email will also include comments from the reviewers.

Peer review process
Contributions will be peer reviewed by members of the Scientific Committee and either presented as a poster or an oral presentation within the scientific programme of MCTP2009.

Publication opportunities
Accepted contributions to the workshop will be published in the form of a book of extended abstracts. A publication agreement is also in place with Physics in Medicine and Biology. Papers from MCTP2009 will be considered for publication in PMB and published as a “special feature” of the journal. Further instructions will be given after the Author notification date.
