NOTE: The deadline for the submission of MCTP2009 papers to PMB has been extended to 19th Jan 2010.

MCTP2009 abstracts will be included in the “Book of Abstracts” which will be available as part of the MCTP2009 delegates pack.

In addition to this, papers from MCTP2009 will be also considered for publication in Physics in Medicine and Biology (PMB) and published as a “special feature” of the Journal.

• A “special feature” is a cluster of related papers, and would be distinguished (from other papers) by a heading in the table of contents and on the front of the journal.

MCTP2009 authors are now welcome to submit full papers for consideration to PMB. An MCTP2009 full paper will be an extended and more detailed version of the abstract that already submitted to us.

• MCTP2009 authors are invited to re-author their work following PMB’s author guidelines available on the journal’s website (www.iop.org/ej/pmb).

Please note that MCTP2009 papers submitted to PMB will undergo full peer review according to the journal's usual standards and procedures.

• PMB's usual high-quality thresholds operate for all special issue papers.
