Currency The official currency in the UK is the Pound Sterling (GBP). Usual credit cards (Mastercard, American Express, VISA) are accepted in hotels, department stores and restaurants. Currently (Dec 2008) the exchange rate is approx. 1 GBP = 1.06 EUR, 1 GBP = 1.47 USD.

Electricity Power supply is 230 V AC, 50 Hz. It is recommended to have a suitable plug-in for British standard.
Liability The Organizing Committee does not accept liability for personal medical expenses, travel expenses, losses of whatever nature incurred by participants and/or accompanying persons. Participants should therefore make their own insurance arrangements.
